Trade.Up – Part exchange your old Bikes
We have a "Trade.Up" scheme, which means we will part exchange your current bike towards an upgraded bike as long as it was purchased from us and serviced by us.
How do I exchange my bike?
Bring in your bike that was bought from us. We will check the original purchase date and service history and value the bike. You choose a new bike that is an upgraded bike over the original bike being exchanged. You pay the differents and enjoy your new bike.
Terms
* New bike purchase must be of a higher retail price of the original bike being exchanged, not traded "down" or replace for the same. Original receipt is required. All Trade Up bikes will be subject to an inspection which will determine any necessary repairs and the Trade Up credit will be adjusted accordingly, bikes must also be cosmetically appealing and corrosion free. The bike being exchange must be exchange no more than 36 months older than the original purchase date. The bike being exchange must have been serviced every 12 months by Velocity Bikes (Portsmouth) Ltd. The exchange bike must have had either a Bronze, Silver or Gold service. The new bike can not be a sale bike or on a special offer. Only bikes purchased from the Velocity Bikes (Portsmouth) Ltd are eligible to participate in the Trade Up program. All original componants must be included (or replaced) not down graded prior to Trade Up. ** Working Condition is described as: A safe and functioning bicycle where as tyres have no less then 50% of tread remaining and tubes must hold air; overall bike is cosmetically appealing and corrosion free; no stripped nuts, bolts, or allen keys; brakes and pads stop bike adequately; drivetrain components are in working order and not more than 75% worn; wheels are true and spokes are in good condition. All Trade Up program are subject to an inspection verifying that the bicycle meets these requirements. We reserve the right to refuse any bike we feel has been modified or damaged, mechanically or cosmetically, in such a way that it is no longer fit to ride.
